I'm really glad I dealt with this company for such a major purchase. My furnace and air conditioner both died at the same time, and my existing maintenance provider had no interest in explaining the problem to me. They just told me I needed all new and were dismissive when I tried to understand and make sure repairs weren't an option.
So I called Brooks. Chris explained the problem and why a repair couldn't be done on the AC and wasn't wise for the furnace. He quoted me with sensitivity to my financial restrictions, without trying to upsell me on anything. The installation was only a week later, and the team were fast, professional, and as invisible as they could be.
The cleanup was complete and except for the new equipment they left no evidence they'd been in my house.
Our furnace wasn't working this morning after last night's snowstorm and when I called and explained the problem they suggested we check that snow wasn't blocking the vents before they sent someone out and charged us for a service call. I really appreciate a company that is honest and doesn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge of how my furnace actually works. Given their honesty today I would absolutely recommend them and will keep their number for any future service we may need.
Prompt,efficient service. Cordial tech.Quite reasonable charge....I still have both my arms and legs. A pleasant experience. I highly recommend Brook's Heating.

We had a Napoleon propane furnace and a new A/C put in recently with Brooks. I was impressed when Chris came out a few months ago and took plenty of time to explain how he would handle our conversion from an oil furnace to propane. When the crew arrived late April (Jim and Rich), they worked hard for three straight days to get everything done right on schedule. It was a big job for us - the house has been on oil ( and some electric and propane fireplace) for over 30 years. I would highly recommend Chris and his team and Nathalie is a great support person at the office directing traffic. Chris has installed our central air conditioning and natural gas line. Very flexible with timing. Would highly recommend and hope to have him in again in the future for all of our heating and air needs!
We chose Brooks Heating and Air Conditioning because Chris really listened and explained his quote and which system would work best for our house. We also wanted to support a local business and felt that we would get better service. But on Christmas Day during the ice storm when we had been without power for 5 days getting a call saying that he was coming over to help us with our furnace was something we weren’t expecting, We had just gotten a generator and had an electrician hook up our furnace to it, we thought it was working but it wasn’t - the next day was Christmas Day but we were desperate I called Chris and he came out to help us with our furnace on Christmas Day, wouldn’t take anything for the call and also gave us a carbon monoxide detector to make sure that we were safe. He then made a second trip again on December 27th, when we couldn’t get the Furnace to work with the generator. I would whole heartedly recommend Brooks Heating & Air Conditioner to everyone. Chris Brooks is not only professional and conscientious but a very caring individual and his wife Nathalie who answers the phones is amazing.
Brooks followed through on every commitment they made from the first appointment for service to the eventual installation of their product. A local company that understands the value of excellent customer service. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend their service or to use them again for our home.
Chris and his assistant Jim just spent a day at our house installing a tankless hot water heater. The service and workmanship was wonderful. They carefully covered all the carpeting before they started - the clean up was excellent - we had nothing to pick up after they were finished. We have also had Chris install our furnace, and humidifier and our a/c will be next. We have our service contract with them and he's really quick to respond to any call for service. I'm incredibly impressed with the workmanship and the person.
I love that a local family owns and operates this business and their donation program just reinforces their loyalty to the community. They are professional, honest and efficient. I wouldn't use anyone else.
Best service I have ever had! Breakdown call was responded to and fixed within 45 of phone call. They are clean, tidy and efficient and priced competitively. I love the hospital donation program that Brooks runs. Thumbs up all around!
